Adviser to OX2 on the sale of their interest in the Horsham Renewable Energy Park to SEC Victoria, demonstrating sell side M&A execution capability
The Horsham Renewable Energy Park is a utility-scale renewable energy project in Victoria’s west, near Horsham and includes a 119-megawatt solar farm comprising more than 212,000 PV solar panels and a 100-megawatt two-hour battery storage system – making it one of Australia’s first integrated solar and BESS projects with a single connection point.
OX2 will manage the construction of the solar farm on behalf of the SEC and once commissioned will also manage the site’s operations, including technical and commercial aspects of the project to optimize the facility.
Once operational in 2027, the facility will be capable of generating around 242,000 megawatt hours of renewable energy a year - enough renewable energy to power around 51,000 homes.
Acton Advisory acted as sole Financial Adviser to OX2 on the sale of their 100% interest in Horsham Renewable Energy Park to SEC Victoria.
The sale successfully reached Financial Close in September 2024.
