Adviser to TagEnergy on the sale of a minority interest in stage one of the Golden Plains Wind farm project

TagEnergy is a clean energy enterprise formed in 2019 to accelerate the energy transition by developing and investing in clean power stations across the globe.

Acton Advisory acted as sole Financial Adviser to TagEnergy on the sale of a minority stake in stage one of the Golden Plains Wind Farm project to Ingka Investments, part of the Ingka Group, the largest owner and operator of IKEA Retail.

Stage one at Golden Plains consists of 756MW (122 turbines), while stage two will add 576MW (93 turbines) and a 300MW battery storage facility. When both stages are complete, the project will be Australia’s largest wind farm to date and will provide sustainable energy for more than 750,000 homes.
